1. Chest Measurement
Taken over the broadest part of the chest, under
the arms and across the widest part of the back.
Position the tape measure horizontally with the
clients arms at his side. Record this as a loose
measure.

6. Waist Measurement
Taken around the waist, just above the waistband
of the trouser, which should be positioned where
the trousers are to be worn. Record this as a
firm measure.

2. Coat Length
Measure from the stitching line just under the
collar, straight down following the curve of the
back to the desired finished length.

7. Hip Measurement
Taken around the widest part of the seat, with
the tape measure in a horizontal position, record
this as a loose measure.

3. Sleeve Length
Measure from the top of the sleeve at the shoulder
line, following the roll of the sleeve straight
down to the centre of the cuff, at the desired
length.

8. Inleg Length
Measured from the crotch seam at the inleg, straight
down to the hem at the desired length.

4. Shoulder width
Measure from the end of the shoulder line at
the top of the sleeve, across the round of the
back to the opposite side.

9. Outleg Length
With the trousers positioned where they are to
be worn, measure from the top of the waistband
down the outleg seam line to the hem at the desired
length.

5. Half Back Width
Measured from the centre back seam line, horizontally
across the back to the hind arm sleeve line.
